Math
The skills developed, concepts attained, and knowledge acquired
through the mathematics program in the secondary school are
essential for success at the college level. These skills are also
applicable by students as members of society and in other
curriculum areas. Preparation for college and student acquisition
of problem-solving techniques, skills, and structures make up the
major theme of the mathematics curriculum at Oakland Catholic High
School. Courses and units of instruction are provided in the
mathematics program to support this major theme.
